About Patio to Size
Most paver calculators multiply square feet by a number. We lay the patio out, paver by paver, and count what is on the drawing.
How a plan is made
The engine lays the pattern you pick over your patio, cuts the pavers that cross the edge, adds the soldier border, and counts full pavers and cut pavers separately. The base, sand and edging come from the same size; the drawing, the yard ticket and the cut plan cannot disagree.
How it is checked
Before a page is built, the pavers are checked to cover the patio exactly (sampled point by point, so a gap or a double paver fails), the count is checked against the drawing, and walls are checked for height, buried course, drainage and course length. A plan that fails is not published.
